  Electronic Loan Processing

The UNO Office of Student Financial Aid works with several lending institutions to provide a streamlined application process for federal Stafford and PLUS loans. If you are eligible to receive any federal loans, they can be electronically certified with one of the lenders listed below. A Master Promissory Note (MPN) will be required by the lender and can be completed online. Students must complete the MPN before funds can be disbursed. This process will take place through electronic funds transfer from the selected lender to the student's account with the Bursar.

We encourage students to visit the various lenders’ websites to look over the benefits offered. The lenders on this list have a proven record of excellent customer service. We have not received any financial incentives in exchange for including them on this website. Each time this page is displayed, the lenders will appear in random order in compliance with recent federal legislation regarding lender neutrality. If you are interested in using another lender not on this list, please contact your financial aid counselor, who will determine if the lender can participate in electronic loan processing.
